The theme this month is Christmas cards...
I started with a Sizzex die cut of a dove/bird. 
This die also came with an embossing folder.
I then pulled out my Tim Holtz/Ranger Distress Inks in Pine Needles and Crushed Olives.
I used the distressing tool to add both colors to the doves. The buttons are all different and they are antique (or close to) buttons from a friend's mother. Once they were put together, I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist - just for a little extra something...

We exchange tonight and I'm one step closer to getting out my Christmas cards.
Nice card. Don't you just love distress inks? I was using them today on a memory book that I am making.
