CHA in LA

Adriana (owner of Paper Vineyard Scrapbook Store) and I had a great, hectic, wonderful, couldn't ask for a better time at the Craft & Hobby Association trade show in Los Angeles last weekend.  It was actually a 5-day event, which never slowed down.  We stayed in an area they call Little Tokyo and this is a photo of one of the streets, before the stores opened...
This is a picture of the streets outside our hotel, at night of course...  We were walking to dinner, but realized we were going the wrong way, had to turn around to find our restaurant.
We drove through The Fashion District and all along the streets - in front of numerous stores - were these manequins.  We ended up calling it "butt row."

 Some samples at the show...
This one was made with all flowers...
These are chipboard with dome tops/fronts.  Kind of a cute idea if you're making a wall hanging or something similar.
These were stamps, embossed, and adorned with jewels, then cut out and placed around the neck of ornaments.  They were gorgeous!
This picture is out of order - my bed at the hotel...  If it looks like it leans to the left, it does.  It was still comfortable, but it was like laying on a slant.
ADORNit's booth - so beautiful.  A lot of fabric was shown at CHA.
More of their booth...
 A sample of Graphic45 ...
The Graphic45 booth was absolutely gorgeous - those ladies can decorate!  Here's Adriana standing next to some of their samples.
These door knobs and hinges are new products for g45.
Sample cards - these were clipped up by gator clips...
More of the same...
There was just so much to see in their booth - It was stunning and I see that I didn't do a very good job of photographing it.
More tomorrow.  Thanks for looking.
