Christmas breakfast...

I have been wanting to make - for a very long time - waffles with Dutch Honey Syrup.  I finally did it on Christmas morning.  It is a carmal-ly kind of syrup that my mother used to make all the time.  The waffles don't look that impressive, but they tasted great.  Hey - no one turned me down.

Mmmmmmm!  It was good.
