It's hard to beat the heat here

And it shines into the east side of my house in the morning, making it hot, hot hot!  I first tried putting the film on the inside to darken the window...

 That's not cheap - it cost me $50 to do the big window.

So you want to get it right the first time.

And that helped quite a bit, but not enough.

I don't have an awning on that side of the house - that's NEXT year's project - but realize I need something to break the sun beating into the window.

I put the umbrella up outside my door and Man!  I immediately felt a difference.

Just pray a gust of wind doesn't come up.
