Still working on Katie's quilt...

it's okay.  It is not a surprise for her.  Remember these pictures of a couple of weeks ago?

 In the picture below, I placed them on the bed

just to get an idea of how big they would be.

This is before I cut each strip in half.

 I cut each strip in half, and then staggered them.

Here it is sewn together and it actually covers the top of my bed.

Next I need to put on the borders and trim.

Kate was by tonight and really likes it.

Mission accomplished - well, almost accomplished.
