What made you happy today?

Let's see... for me I would have to say singing in the shower. I don't know why I do it, and who knows why I pick a certain song, but I think it really does set the tone for the day. The songs I sing just pop in my head and are almost always "oldies" maybe because I know most of the words. Sometimes it is John Denver - I know, I need to buy some new CD's. I have never owned a John Denver CD!

More happiness: I teach part-time at Paper Vineyard in Chandler, which is a paper craft/scrapbooking store. That job is fun and makes me happy. I really do enjoy making homemade items and giving them away. I recently made (for my sister, Susan) a pencil cup and memo pad using my Bind-It-All Zutter. I have to say, I was happy with how they turned out. I've added a picture above. I used K & Company's Wild Saffron line, which is one of my favorite paper lines.
If anyone is reading my blog, let me know what makes you happy! :)

Great job Jean! I love it! I did have to chuckle on the "about me" part. I really hate that part too, but I love how you twisted it. I think you are going to have fun with this. Just enjoy!! :)

I have songs pop in my head all day too. It least it wasn't the Sta-puft Marshamallow man. Right now I'm listening to the Barry Manilow channel on Pandora. All 70's!
Terrific terrific job on the project. You are incredibly talented! I can't wait to see the Cosmo Cricket projects that you create.

Your sister is going to love the pencil box and memo pad you created for her, Jean. They turned out lovely! You are so talented.

Lindsay...that was funny about the Stay Puffed Marshmallow man! I loved it when Dan Akroyd said "It just popped in there" :)

Lindsay, you are so right - Cosmo Cricket will be up next. I have my own version of the "Mr. Campy" book and I will post that soon.
Esther, I am going to have to watch that episode you and Lindsay are referring to. I can't remember it.
Vee, thank you for letting me know what made you happy.
Pat and Tina, thanks for the nice things you said.
