I used all Cosmo Cricket paper from 3 different lines.
The idea behind "Holiday" cards is that we are actually making cards for 3 different holidays: Halloween, Fall/Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
There are 5 designs, but we will be making 2 of each design for a total of 10 cards.
Halloween designs made with the Haunted line - a classic older line with great colors.
The Thanksgiving (or Fall) card was designed with the Nutmeg paper line - one of my favorites. I am not quite finished with the card - it needs a saying on the front, which is my project for today.
And the Christmas cards were designed using the brand new, just shipped, Dear Mr. Claus line - very vintage and really bright colors. This line really reminds me of Christmas when I was a child.
This picture shows how the bottom and top layers fold over each other.
Here is a top view of the joy fold card - it is not a great view of how the card actually folds. This simply looks like a tri-fold, however, the inside piece actually folds to become the outside flap.
I think you will enjoy this class and learning the joy fold.
It will be something you will use many times over.
So get a start on your holiday cards. I would love to see you on September 24th!
