First full day in San Diego and Oceanside

We woke up in San Diego and checked out Seaport Village and drove around Coronado Island before heading to our destination in Oceanside.  Here are more photos of our trip so far:
Lots of pelicans at the marina.
I was kind of amazed at how the white egrets would perch at the top of a very large tree.  These are large birds.
We saw sea lions... sunbathing.
It was a sunset cruise after all, and we did see a magnificent one!
Kim and I after a long day of travel and finishing our boat ride.
Sunday we headed off to Pole Park right by Seaport Village.  This is the USS Midway.
Kim wanted very much to see the "larger than life" statue of a sailor kissing his girl goodbye.
 Shopping at Seaport Village.
Kimberly is very good at writing, and even sending, postcards. Here she is sitting at the bookstore writing out her postcards.
The view from our patio - we are on the second level, which is the ground level.
At least we have a view of the ocean.
 Dining room and kitchen...
and living area.
We are having a great time and hoping to get out the door soon to see more of Oceanside.
