Las Vegas Supper

I recently went to Las Vegas for a wedding and while there, we went to dinner at a restaurant on the Strip called Yardbird.  We checked out the menu on line and I was sold when I saw they offered shrimp 'n grits.  We started off with BLT fried green tomatoes... (topped with homemade pimento cheese)...

 Their specialty is fried chicken...

 We wanted to try some of their sides, so we ordered 

mashed cauliflower potatoes and crispy brussels sprouts.

Then, of course, my shrimp 'n grits.

 This was - hands down - one of the best meals I have eaten in years.

We wholeheartedly recommend you try Yardbird if you ever get to Vegas.
