Okay, I'm getting carried away...

I started looking at my scraps in a whole different way. I have A LOT of scraps. So instead of doing a mish mash of all scraps like I did with the 6x6 pages, I pulled some of my Graphic45 papers. Using their Botanicabella line, I created these two 12 x 12 layouts. The stitching is done with a tan thread, so it is a little harder to see in these pictures, but it really added to the effect - very subtle but still softened the edges. This one is a collage of scraps.
A close up of the Graphic45 logo.
What I really like is the backside of these projects. They are very neat and clean. It is kind of like looking at the inside of a garment.
In this one, I actually created a design with the paper. It felt somewhat like quilting.
I am enjoying creating these pages. I am going to try using this technique on making Christmas cards this year. The card exchange has a "green" month in December which means we are to make cards out of scraps or recycled products. This is the perfect technique!
Happy crafting!
