Monsoon Storms

We are in monsoon season here in Phoenix.  You just never know when a storm is going to hit.  The other night, right after getting home, it started to get dark outside...

 These photos were taken about 5:30 p.m.

 It wasn't raining yet, but look at the palm trees -

the wind is really blowing.

 Now, it is really raining and blowing, just POURING down!

 I have artificial grass in my back yard - which I LOVE -

but my yard has never flooded before.  

You can see the patio and yard are under water.

 This is my side yard.

The wind moved the storage shed - just a bit...

and the side yard was flooded, too.
